Born in 1990 Torino, Italy; she lives and works in Brussels and internationally.
Graduated in International Political Economy at the University of Kent (Uk), Francesca is an independent researcher, project manager and assistant curator. She is interested in exploring the role that contemporary art practices have as forms of socio-economic and political critique in the context of late capitalism transformations and in the political economy and ecology of contemporary art particularly in North and West Africa.
In 2014 Francesca co-founded and since then co-directs Maison Bergamini, an independent cultural and research space in Brussels focused on photography, sound and video art, gender studies, migration and urban studies. She also collaborates with other art spaces and platforms such as Mòsso in Brussels and Le 18 in Marrakech (Ma).
Francesca joined the team of Saout Radio in the spring 2015 and she has been collaborating with sound artist Anna Raimondo since then.
